Blink twice on your cycle to the dunes and you’ll miss this quaint gem of a coffee house tucked in next to the Nieuwe Scheveningse Bosjes. Framed by its outdoor string lights, Pompke is a hub of hot coffees and even warmer characters. What feels like your grandmother’s kitchen meets drinks on the patio, this outdoor spot is perfect for taking a pause over good coffee. Relax into a heated pillow and enjoy one of the many cakes, soups or sandwiches on offer – all handmade with love by the Pompke family. And if you stick around long enough, you might even spot Diederik on his electric bike coming to perform DIY and catch up with Pompke’s many regulars!

Esther has graduated the Royal Art Academy, has got a preference for craftsmanship techniques and is an experienced teacher. You will find her work in and around Pompke.
